Professional Childcare Services

A housekeeper focuses on the smooth day-to-day running of the home, including cleaning, laundry, and household organisation. A nanny-housekeeper combines childcare with light housekeeping duties, typically balancing care of the children alongside maintaining the home. We help families determine which role best suits their household structure, priorities, and daily routine.

We support families with a wide range of nanny placements, including live-in, live-out, part-time, full-time, and temporary nanny roles. Each role is structured around the family’s schedule, household set-up, and childcare needs, with placements available from 20 hours per week through to full-time support.

Each placement begins with a detailed consultation to understand your family’s routine, values, childcare philosophy, and practical requirements. We then carefully shortlist candidates based on experience, suitability, and long-term compatibility, ensuring each introduction is well aligned with the household rather than based solely on availability.

All nannies we recommend are personally known to us and carefully vetted. This includes in-depth interviews, detailed reference checks, DBS verification, confirmation of relevant experience, and right-to-work checks where applicable. We apply the same rigorous standards to both permanent and temporary nanny placements.

A professional nanny focuses on childcare and child-related responsibilities. Duties may include daily care, routines, educational and developmental activities, school or nursery runs, preparing meals for children, supporting homework, and maintaining tidy child-related spaces. Responsibilities are clearly agreed in advance and tailored to each family.

All professionals we recommend are personally known to us and carefully vetted. This includes interviews, reference checks, verification of experience, DBS checks where applicable, and confirmation of right to work.

A full-time nanny typically works between 40 and 50 hours per week on a regular, ongoing basis. This arrangement provides families with consistent, dedicated childcare support throughout the working week and is particularly well suited to households requiring structured daily care.

Yes. We place both live-in and live-out full-time nannies and advise families on the most suitable arrangement based on working hours, lifestyle, and household set-up. During the consultation, we help clarify which option best supports your family’s needs and long-term plans.

A full-time nanny focuses on childcare and child-related responsibilities, including daily routines, school or nursery runs, educational and developmental activities, and children’s meals. Responsibilities are clearly defined in advance and tailored to each household to ensure clarity and balance.

Full-time nannies work agreed hours, usually across weekdays, with schedules structured around your family’s routine. Start and finish times, flexibility, and any overtime arrangements are discussed and agreed prior to placement to ensure transparency for both parties.

All nannies we recommend are personally known to us and carefully vetted through a thorough selection process. This includes interviews, reference checks, DBS verification, and confirmation of relevant experience and right to work, ensuring families are introduced to reliable, professional candidates.

Yes. We begin with an in-depth consultation to understand your childcare requirements, working patterns, and household expectations. Based on this, we advise whether a full-time nanny is the most suitable option or whether a part-time or alternative arrangement may be more appropriate.

Searches can begin immediately, with no registration fees. Depending on the role and availability, we aim to share carefully selected profiles as quickly as possible, often the same day, while ensuring suitability and quality are not compromised.Accordion Content

A live-in nanny is a professional childcare provider who resides in the family home and provides consistent, day-to-day care for the children. This arrangement offers continuity, flexibility, and personalised support tailored to the family’s routines and lifestyle.

A live-in nanny’s duties focus on childcare and child-related responsibilities. These typically include daily care, routines, educational and developmental activities, school preparation, children’s meals, laundry, and keeping children’s areas organised. Duties are agreed in advance and tailored to each household.

A live-in arrangement can offer additional flexibility for early mornings, evenings, or occasional schedule changes. However, availability outside agreed hours should always be discussed in advance and reflected in the nanny’s contract to maintain clear boundaries.

Families must provide a private bedroom for a live-in nanny. Where possible, access to a separate bathroom is recommended to ensure comfort, privacy, and appropriate rest.

Yes. While live-in nanny roles are most commonly full-time, part-time live-in arrangements may be considered depending on the family’s needs and the structure of the role. This is discussed during the initial consultation.

All live-in nannies we recommend are personally known to us and carefully vetted. This includes interviews, reference checks, DBS verification, confirmation of experience, and right-to-work checks where applicable.

A temporary nanny provides short-term childcare support for a defined period, offering continuity and professional care without a long-term commitment. Temporary nannies are often engaged to cover transitions, parental travel, increased workloads, school holidays, or interim childcare needs while a permanent solution is arranged.

Our temporary nanny placements are available for a minimum of two weeks. This ensures sufficient time for the nanny to settle into the household, establish routines, and provide meaningful, consistent care for the children.

During our initial phone call, we would discuss your child’s specific requirements to understand the specificities, to find a nanny who has the appropriate skills and experience to provide the best care and support.

Temporary nanny placements can range from two weeks to several months, depending on your family’s requirements. The duration is agreed in advance and can sometimes be extended if both the family and the nanny wish to continue and availability allows.

Temporary roles follow the same rigorous vetting process as permanent placements.

Yes. Temporary nanny roles may be structured as either live-in or live-out, depending on your household needs and the length of the placement. We advise families on the most appropriate arrangement during the initial consultation.

In some cases, yes. If a temporary arrangement works well and both parties wish to continue, we can advise on transitioning to a permanent placement, subject to availability and revised terms.

Yes. We remain available throughout the temporary placement, offering ongoing support and guidance to ensure the arrangement runs smoothly for both the family and the nanny.

A part-time nanny provides regular, professional childcare for fewer hours than a full-time role, while still offering consistency and continuity within the family home. Part-time nanny placements typically start from 20 hours per week and are structured around the family’s specific schedule, such as mornings, afternoons, after-school hours, or selected days each week. This arrangement suits families who need dependable childcare support without full-time coverage.

  • Creating a safe and stimulating environment for the children
  • Taking care of the children’s bath
  • Planning meals, preparing food, and/or feeding the children
  • Arranging playdates / Going to baby groups activities
  • Indoor and outdoor play

  • Walking or driving the children to school
  • Reading to the children
  • Help with homework
  • Organising bedrooms/toys
  • Administering medicine with parents’ consent, if necessary
  • Maintaining logs for the parents
  • Light housekeeping, including children’s laundry

Part-time nannies work agreed, fixed hours that reflect the family’s routine and requirements. These may include school hours, early mornings, after-school periods, or a combination of days across the week. Hours are discussed in detail during the consultation and confirmed before placement, ensuring clarity and consistency for both the family and the nanny

Yes. After-school nanny roles are one of the most common types of part-time placements we support. An after-school nanny typically assists with school pick-ups, homework routines, meals, activities, and early evening care. This option is particularly popular with working parents who need reliable support at the end of the school day while maintaining structure and routine for their children.

A part-time nanny’s duties focus on childcare and child-related responsibilities. These may include caring for children during agreed hours, managing routines, preparing meals for the children, assisting with homework, organising activities, and maintaining tidy child-related spaces. Duties are clearly defined in advance and tailored to each household, ensuring the role remains balanced and appropriate to the agreed hours.

Yes. A part-time nanny can support children of all ages, from toddlers to school-aged children. Care is structured around the child’s developmental stage, routine, and needs, whether that involves daytime care, morning support, or after-school supervision. During the consultation, we help families determine whether part-time care is suitable based on the child’s age and the hours required.

All part-time nannies we recommend are personally known to us and carefully vetted through a thorough selection process. This includes interviews, detailed reference checks, DBS verification, confirmation of relevant experience, and right-to-work checks where applicable. This approach ensures families are introduced to reliable, professional candidates suited to part-time roles.

Searches can begin immediately, with no registration fees. Depending on the role requirements and availability, we aim to share carefully selected part-time nanny profiles as quickly as possible, often the same day. While speed is important, suitability and long-term fit always remain our priority.

A ROTA nanny works on a rotational schedule, typically alternating between set periods on duty and off duty (for example, 7 days on / 7 days off or 14 days on / 14 days off). During their working period, they provide full-time, often 24-hour childcare support.

ROTA nannies are particularly suited to:

  • High-profile or high-demand households

  • Families who travel frequently

  • Parents with unpredictable schedules

  • Homes requiring continuous childcare coverage

  • International or multi-residence families

They provide structured, uninterrupted support.

Professional ROTA nannies ensure detailed and organised handovers to maintain consistency. Communication logs, structured routines, and clear reporting help children experience continuity, even as shifts rotate.

ROTA nannies are typically highly experienced career professionals. Many have worked in private households, UHNW environments, or international settings. They are confident managing multiple children, travel, and complex schedules while maintaining discretion and professionalism.

We conduct a detailed consultation to understand your household structure, expectations, travel patterns, and parenting style. We then present carefully vetted candidates with proven ROTA experience and the temperament suited to rotational teamwork and long-term stability.

Searches can begin immediately, with no registration fees. Depending on the role and availability, we aim to share carefully selected profiles as quickly as possible, often the same day, while ensuring suitability and quality are not compromised.

A maternity nurse is a postnatal care professional who supports families during the newborn period. Her role focuses on newborn care, feeding support, sleep routines, and parental guidance in the first weeks or months following birth. A maternity nurse provides calm, knowledgeable support to help families settle confidently into life with a new baby.

Maternity nurse placements are typically short-term and may range from two weeks to several months, depending on the family’s needs. Some families require support in the early weeks only, while others choose extended support to help establish routines and confidence over time.

During our initial phone call, we would discuss your child’s specific requirements to understand the specificities, to find a nanny who has the appropriate skills and experience to provide the best care and support.

A maternity nurse’s duties centre on newborn care and postnatal support. This may include feeding guidance (breast or bottle), sleep routines, baby care, hygiene, and settling techniques. She may also offer reassurance and practical advice to parents as they adjust to caring for their newborn.

Yes. We place both day maternity nurses and night maternity nurses, depending on your requirements. Day support focuses on routines and parental guidance, while night maternity nurses help with overnight feeds and settling, allowing parents to rest during the early weeks.

Maternity nurse roles may be structured as live-in or live-out, depending on the hours required and the family’s preference. Night maternity nurses are usually live-out, while some day or 24-hour roles may be live-in for short periods.

Many maternity nurses have professional training in newborn or postnatal care and extensive hands-on experience. While not all are medically qualified, we carefully assess each nurse’s background, training, and experience to ensure suitability for the role and the family’s preferences.

All maternity nurses we recommend are personally known to us and carefully vetted. This includes interviews, reference checks, DBS verification, confirmation of relevant experience, and right-to-work checks where applicable. Temporary maternity placements follow the same rigorous standards as permanent roles.

Housekeeping and Private Staff Services

A Family Assistant focuses primarily on supporting the smooth running of the household and family life — managing schedules, coordinating activities, liaising with schools, organising travel, and overseeing suppliers.
A Private PA often supports both personal and professional matters, including diary management, correspondence, event planning, and confidential administrative tasks. Many roles combine elements of both, depending on your household’s needs.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Managing family diaries and appointments

  • Coordinating school schedules and extracurricular activities

  • Booking travel and organising holidays

  • Overseeing household staff and suppliers

  • Event planning and logistics

  • Running errands and managing household systems

Each role is tailored precisely to your family’s structure and priorities.

Some Family Assistants may provide light childcare support, such as school pick-ups or supervision, but their primary focus is organisation and coordination. If substantial childcare is required, we can structure a hybrid role or advise on combining a nanny with a Family Assistant.

We place professionals with strong organisational backgrounds, excellent communication skills, and proven discretion. Many have experience working in private households, private offices, or high-responsibility administrative roles. All candidates are carefully vetted and referenced.

A tutor typically provides subject-specific academic instruction for limited hours.
