Early Years Education – Insight from Fox & Cubs Nanny Agency
Last week, Michael Wilshaw delivered a speech launching Ofsted’s first annual report on early years education. The report raised concerns about ensuring equal education for all children in the UK, with discussions on whether formal schooling should start as early as age two.
While no official decision has been made, Ofsted has proposed a checklist of 10 essential skills that children should develop by the age of five.
The goal is to focus on social, emotional, and learning skills to create a strong foundation for academic success.
