EXPERIENCED ROTA NANNY – 2 weeks on/2 weeks off (French or Turkish speaking) – Kensington, London W8 – shared care role

  • Start date: as soon as possible
  • Schedule: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
  • Location: Kensington, London W8
  • There are 2 boys (2.5 and 8 months old) The day nanny will focus on the baby. There will always be another day nanny for the toddler during the weekdays. On the weekends, the toddler will also be under her care.
  • Shared care with the mum.
  • Salary: £80 to 100K per year – negotiable depending on experience
  • Language requirements French or Turkish speaking with fluent English
  • Long-term experience with families is MANDATORY.
Detailed Requirements:
  • Support during days and nights and ensure sleep training.
  • 70% focus on the baby, but on the weekends, the toddler will also be under her care.
  • This nanny will be responsible for doing weekly menus and coordinating all food for both children.
  • Accompany family with travel (travel to USA, Europe) we travel 3x a year max for 2 weeks at most
  • Ensuring routine is in place and closely followed- including food, sleep, activities and hygiene
  • Ensure brain and social development and milestones for children, with games and activities according to development age. Make a schedule of activities, including at-home activities and in park, swimming lessons, and classes when appropriate
  • Experience and enjoying creating educational activities, arts and crafts, and music.
  • Someone with high energy but able to remain discreet in the home environment.
  • Long experience with families – Good work ethic, professional and loyal
  • Shared care role – the parents are at home and are looking for someone who will support them in raising the children – they are looking for someone who will be able to read the room and understand the needs of the kids and family.
  • Experience with babies preferred and a maternal, gentle personality
  • Smart, proactive with a can-do attitude. Highly organized- needs to organize schedules, keep detailed notes, organize playroom, bedrooms and activities
  • Safety-conscious parents keep babies safe and healthy (can understand health issues proactively before they arise)
  • High attention to safety and hygiene (the nanny will change when arriving at the family’s residence)
  • Good communication – the family is straightforward and is looking for someone to be open and provide suggestions, and keep them updated on developmental progress
  • Discretion with other staff members is required and within the home
  • Children’s room organisation: toys, clothes and supplies
  • Assist the family as required; this could include helping the mum make a quick lunch.
